power of the detergent tablets

like dosageAssist

Nowadays tablets are the most commonly used cleaning detergents for

dishwashers. Previously, dishwashers had been optimised for the use of

powder only. When tablets were used, they would tend to fall into the

dishwasher in an uncontrolled manner without always achieving their full

effect. This has changed with dosageAssist from Siemens. The dishwashing

tablet now falls from the detergent chamber right into a small catch pan

at the front of the upper dishwashing rack. A precisely directed water jet

controls the dissolving tablet, which is distributed evenly for

sparkling results. You can, of course, continue to use powder

and gel cleaners with dosageAssist.

hydroDry – the energy-saving feature

The Siemens hydroDry is a perfect example

of the intelligent design that is incorporated

into our energy management system by

using the heat generated in the main

wash cavity to preheat water that is later

used in the wash cycle. In the ﬁnal rinse,

the hydroDry cleverly uses changes in

temperature to leave the dishes hygienically

dry – eliminating the need to take air in

outside the machine. The hydroDry provides

the ultimate care for handling delicate

champagne and wine stems by eliminating

temperature shock caused by rapid changes

in temperature.

Sanitation

Perfect for households with younger children where

a higher rinse temperature is required and is ideal for

baby bottles, cooking utensils, glass jars, chopping

boards, etc.

Large item spray head

Larger items such as baking trays and oven

shelves can be washed simply by removing

the upper basket and attaching the large

item spray head.

For dishes that gleam

The rinse aid sensor is essential for a sparkling ﬁnish for your

dishes and glasses. All Siemens dishwashers monitor the level

of rinse aid and, via LED lights, indicate when the rinse aid

compartment needs to be reﬁlled. If you are using a multi-action

detergent tablet, which already includes rinse aid, you can

manually deactivate the rinse aid function.

A more efﬁcient spray

In Siemens dishwashers, a system of

alternately rotating spray arms targeting

the upper and lower baskets ensures that

water and energy are used efﬁciently.

What’s more, the curved spray arms have

been ﬁtted with holes pierced at various

angles to direct water to all areas of the

internal cavity.

Child lock at the push of a button

For added safety, selected Siemens dishwashers

can be locked to prevent the opening of the door.

The buttons can also be locked to prevent tampering

during operation.
