PROFIBUS DP bus connection

The front panel of the communication module for Proﬁ bus-DP is equipped with:

- a 5 pin male 7/8” socket for power supply

- a 5 pin male M12-B socket or 5 pin female M12-A socket for the bus cable (with a T-connector on integrated M12 COM-IN/

COM-OUT connector)

The modules on either side of the system must be provided with terminating resistors
