Introduction
The Register CLIMs with Key Managers Guided Procedure guides you through the process of
registering storage CLIMs with a cluster of HP Enterprise Secure Key Managers (ESKMs) for the
purpose of providing encryption on storage devices. Keys generated by the Key Managers help
protect your storage data.

Selecting CLIMs to Be Registered
Upon starting the guided procedure, it displays the Storage CLIM Selection dialog box, from which
you select the CLIMs to be registered with a Key Manager Cluster. Only storage CLIMs with model
G5 and later are listed in the dialog box.
