Appendix APPENDIX A) .1) Using 24v 2A Internal Supply for Detectors

There is spare capacity on the 24v power supply. The exact amount depends upon the

number of Expansion I/O Boards and their equivalents (1 SDE/SA Board @ 250mA is

equivalent to two Expansion I/O Boards @ 2 x 125mA). e.g. 5 equivalents represent 3

Exp I/O + 1 SDE/SA.

The use of the internal 24v power supply is also dependent upon the distance rules see

the following section.

The following table indicates the maximum number of detector cards the T400 is

capable of supporting on the 24v 2A internal supply, given the number of expansion

I/O boards fitted (or equivalent) and the type of detector card:-
