so. Where parallel stage streaming is employed the indicator will illuminate when the

combination of stages that is allocated to the push-button is active

9.6.3 Manual Mode Enable/Disable Facility

Manual mode may be enabled or disabled from becoming operative by two methods

(see Figure 21.8 for configuration example):

i) by using the handset command MND.

If NORMAL has been selected on the mode select buttons and manual

switch position is disabled using handset (MND=1) then if MANUAL is

selected, the controller continues as if still in normal position.

Using handset command MND=0, manual can be enabled so switching

to manual position will allow manual operation.

If the controller is under manual operation and the handset is used to

disable manual mode (MND=1), then manual mode will continue until

another mode select button is pressed. If MANUAL is then re-selected,

the controller will continue as if NORMAL were selected.

ii) by the handset being plugged in or out when configured on a particular

intersection.

If manual is selected while the handset is not plugged in then the

controller will continue as if normal was selected.

If manual is selected with the handset plugged in the controller will

allow manual operation until the handset is removed or until another

mode select button is pressed.

9.6.4 Manual Control Parallel Stage Streaming Facilities

The Manual Stage Buttons are programmed so that each of the 7 buttons can select:

a) a combination of stages, one from each stream, that will run

simultaneously,

b) one stage from any one stream

9.6.5 Dim Override facility

The Dim override push button will toggle the Dim/Bright state of the lamps if the

lamps are in the dimmed state initially. SW1 will be used for this function if it is

required. Auxiliary LED1 will normally be configured such that LED ON represents

the overriding of the dimmed state to bright.

NOTE: Override is from Dim to Bright only.
